Designed especially for cleaning hard, sealed floors, including stone, wood, and laminate, the Floor Mate performs a triple-whammy: it vacuums, washes, and dries. Dual tank design for wet or dry cleaning, a deluxe grip with solution trigger, and a 13-inch cleaning path make cleaning a snap. Four rows of soft brushes safely and gently clean floors with the included 8-ounce bottles of Lysol and Old English concentrated solutions. The brush assembly and nozzle squeegee remove for cleaning, and the EZ-empty recovery tank automatically shuts off when full. | We purchased this floor mop to replace our H3000 that had gone bad. Although we loved the H3000, this mop is even better! We have a lot of tile flooring so to make mopping easier on the back, we purchased these floor mops. You'll be amazed at the "mud" that the mop picks up off your floor. The H2800 mop features a fixed bristle brush versus the rotating brushes of the H3000. The fixed brushes do a better job. |

It's better than mopping. But that's all. It puts down solution and picks it up. Other than that it's just like mopping.
My suggestion is, get a better model. |

| I purchased this for my daughter-in-law to help with her toddler. I have had one for a couple of years and have really liked the way it cleans up my floors and sweeps at the same time it is cleaning so I don't have to first sweep the floor. It doesn't do a good job on built up grime though, especially under kitchen cabinets, though it is outstanding for quick cleaning large areas. |

| This Hoover Floormate gets the job done, however if you have a larger hardwood/tile floor surface I would suggest spending more on the floormate with rotating brushes. Mine is over two years old and still works great but do plan on upgrading soon. No problems at all with it. Just need to change the filter every few months. |
