What can I say, it's a door hook. It works perfectly for hanging a three step, step stool. I used two of them for this purpose and are adequate. Don't think I would hang more than about thirty pounds off the two however. They do not have any holes drilled on the top leg, so if you want to anchor them they will need to be modified. There is no interference with door function. Would buy again if needed. Shipping cost more than the part! Hooks were $1.89 each and shipping was $2.98 each. No discount because they were shipped together.

I needed three of these hooks to hang an over-the-door organizer for my son's playroom. The hooks that came with it were so flimsy they bent and snapped with 48 hours. These hooks are very sturdy and have a capped end, so they won't slide down off the door and bend. Closing the door DOES require a little more 'oomph' now that the hooks are on it, but they haven't bent or moved, and that's all I care about!

We needed to hang head phones on the panels that divide our work stations. These hooks fit on the divider perfectly, hang the right length, hold the headphones, look nice. The piece that slips over the panel and the hook are both coated with rubber (or something similar) so there is no danger of the fabric on the panels getting ripped.
