We added this to our closet organizer and it installed super easily and fits well with the overall closet system. It is well-built and sturdy and holds belts pretty well. The problems/complaints I have so far might be just limited to me, but here they are. The belt hanger part of it can move left and right (when you are looking at it) and it really influenced by the weight of things hanging from it. When we first hung it up and I put my belts on it, I realized I didn't have enough belts to keep the thing from moving whenever I took one belt off. Since then we've tried to put my stuff on one side and my fiance's stuff on the other side...apparently men's belt's way much more than lady's belts so the whole thing is kind of crooked now. The other thing might pertain to more people; it was kind of hard to find a place for it since you need to let the belts hang down from it so you likely have to put it somewhere that you also have a clothes rack in close proximity hanging things like women's dresses. We did since it wouldn't fit anywhere else in our closet. Unfortunately we don't have enough room in our closets to use it without adjusting the clothes rack and losing about 4-5 inches of space. (Which doesn't seem like that much but when you have tight closets it matters).
Buy it if already have a Rubbermaid closet organizer installed and you need something to organize your belts and ties and have room for it.
Don't buy it if you don't have that many belts or you are really tight on space in your closet. |

This is a great product! I originally bought it for belts; however, this is the perfect product for hanging up bras in the closet. Using this item, they do not get squished or twisted in drawers. I was able to start with white on one side and move all the way through to black at the end, organizing by colors and styles. I am always able to see what I have without having to dig around in my dresser looking for the right color or style. This also makes it easier to get dressed in the morning. Because they are hanging on the same hanging rod as my blouses, I can tell before I select a blouse, whether I have the appropriate bra to wear under it.
It is even better to keep track of what I already have. Sadly, I haven't needed to run into VS for almost anything lately because I know I already have it and I can find it.
If you have ever dumped out an entire drawer searching for one bra in particular, this is a great solution. |

I have finally replaced my standard "one rod in the middle with the shelf above" old-fashioned setup in both of my closets, and could not be happier with the result. I used the Rubbermaid closet kit in the box, which has more than tripled space in my closets, and it feels very freeing and wonderful to have that much extra storage space.
This Tie and Belt organizer was a natural extension/addition to this whole set up, and once again, I love the end result. I have used other ways and methods for storing my belts in the past, and it never quite worked right... they either kept falling off, or did not quite show right (meaning I did not see all of them at one glance and had to rummage through all of them to find the right one), they were not easily accessible, etc...
All these problems got solved with this hanger/organized - all the belts (different widths, styles, etc...) are neatly hanged in one space, all visible right away, very easily accessible/removable, and they are fastened quite securely (meaning they do not fall down the moment you touch one of them).
Very happy with this purchase, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for functionable belt organizer. |
