The Park Tool CG-2 Chain Gang Chain Cleaning System allows you to easily keep your bicycle's derailleur and chain in the best possible working order. As bikes travel roads and trails, chains and chain lubricants attract dirt and grit that cause poor shifting and unnecessary wear to expensive parts. Dirt and grit on the chain eventually wear down the chain rivets, inner plates, and rear cogs. The Chain Gang System contains everything you need to quickly and easily clean the chain, freewheel cogs, and chainrings. Park Tool ChainBrite solvents break down the grit, making it smaller and easier to flush away with the CM-5 Chain Scrubber and GSC-1 GearClean Brush. The system weighs 1.3 pounds.

| It does the job well but you need to run the chain through the cleaner a couple of times, emptying the container, flushing it and repeating for a real clean process. |
| Easy to use - better than most | 2010-05-18 | 4 / 5 |
|
| Easy to use, simple instructions. Uses a great deal of fluid, especially if you run the chain through twice like it recommends. Used half the provided bottle on the first chain. No matter what, some fluid drips out, so use newspaper under the chain. Makes a really messy job a bit easier, more likely to do it. Pros: Definitely made well, much more rugged than Performance or others, good metal clips. Cons: Bristles come out easier than i thought, 1st use 20 or more bristles caught in various bits of the chain or dumped out with used fluid. |

| I took my old mountain bike out for a tune up. The chain had rust layers of dust and dirt collecting on the chain oil from the bike sitting. Two cleaning cycles and the chain was looking like new. Great purchase and cheaper than a new chain. |
