This handsome limited edition toy box can be a big help to parents who are trying to keep their baby's or toddler's room a little neater. At 33.5 inches long, 18 inches deep, and 18 inches high, the all-wood box provides ample room for toys, games, and stuffed animals. And with its clean, natural wood finish and spindled seat back, the toy box also works well as a large bench. The box has a sturdy wood bottom inside, along with four plastic casters that make it relatively easy to move around--even in a carpeted room or when full of toys. Two spring-loaded hinges inside the box hold its top open while you load items (or your toddler unloads them), and hand-sized carry handles on either side have also been added so that parents can carry the box if necessary. All of the edges and corners have been nicely beveled and sanded and there are no sharp edges or components that could hurt little fingers and hands.

| We bought this toy box after our first box was recalled (totally different toy box). Setup was very easy for my husband. The color is great and it looks very nice in our living room. I like that it's on wheels and the lid stays where it is placed. We have no worries about getting pinched fingers or the lid falling on their heads. It's very sturdy and my twins both stand on it together to look out the window. I wish that I would have bought this toy box in the first place - no regrets! |

| As someone who LOVES building IKEA furniture, I was undaunted by the need to assemble this piece -- but it wound up taking quite a few hours. It may be easier for more than one person, however (I was alone). That said, it came out beautiful, and it certainly seems sturdy (though my kid is only months old at the moment, so I have not lived through wear and tear!). Also, of note: This matches REMARKABLY well with the Babies 'R' Us "Heritage Cache" crib and dresser line (which also comes in cherry)!!! I had no idea when I ordered it, really, but it all looks tight and classy together. I recommend the whole shebang. |

| First off, its not really fair to call it a toy. Its sturdy, well made, I love the look of it and safety close hinge. It holds an amazing amount of toys and that it can be wheeled into any room and look like a nreally nice piece of furniture is a huge plus and quite a convenience. I would absolutely reccommend this product especially if its on sale for around $100- you cant beat that price for this quality!! |

Assembly - This goes together fairly easily if you can follow instructions. I was able to do it myself, but another set of hands might have been useful when lining up some of the pieces. The hardest part is attaching the hindge to the top. It fits. Don't force anything. The number one rule is to make sure your screwdriver is the right size. If you feel yourself starting to strip the screw, stop and try again. DO NOT STRIP THOSE TWO SCREWS OR YOU WILL BE . . . well. . . screwed. Push hard as you turn and the two screws will go all the way in. Be patient. Soup to nuts, this took me about 20 minutes to assemble, and I am quite handy.
Construction - Once assembled, this thing is rock solid. It weighs over 50 pounds of solid wood. The bottom and back are not solid wood, but that is unimportant. The top does not quite open 90 degrees, but the safety hindge leaves the top at any position.
I have the natural finish and there was not a single imperfection in the wood.
A+ - Highly recommend.
FOLLOW-UP: The first one was a gift. I liked it so much, I bought another (in white) for us. The white one I bought was of equal high quality and went together very easily. I was impressed that the allen screws even had white painted matching heads. This is really terrific.
If I had one very minor criticism, it would be that you must install the wheels and they do not lock. Thus, if you have this on a wood floor, it tends to roll around. |

| This toy chest assembled easily, is good quality overall for the price and is very solid. The kids enjoy the toy chest because the height is just right and the lid has a dampened hinge that makes it open and close easily and safely. The front edge of the chest is contoured in a way that makes accessing the lid easy without a handle and it is very safe and finger friendly, no pinched fingers! The only thing I'm not crazy about but some people might like is that the chest rolls easily because it is on casters and when a baby that's still crawling up to it grabs on it rolls away from them. I could take the casters off but I'm giving it a little time before I decide. Overall great product! |
