| been playing guitar consistanly for about 3 months. this book has helped with finger coordination, speed, and timing. some of the exercises are a little hard, but overall pretty decent book. You definitely need to be able to read either music or tabliture and understand guitar notation. |
| Good, fun practice book. | 2010-07-23 | 4 / 5 |

I've had the book for about 3 weeks,I haven't quite followed the one lick per day as the book suggests, but I am having a lot of fun, learning the licks in order.
I would not suggest this format alone for learning any instrument, or learning music in general, but the way it starts simple, and progressively increases my skills, my understanding of music theory, and stays fun, means that I highly recommend this music lesson book. Also the book was priced just right. |

| This book is helping me do new things with the guitar and helping with my playing over all |
|
| I haven't delved too deeply yet, but the layout of the lessons and the increasing difficulty is what I was looking for. The accompanying CD will definitely come in handy. |
|
| Made me a better guitarist. All there is to it. Exercises can get a little mind numbing, I don't care what book you're using, but these flow in a natural order for building skills, and they keep your mind engaged by switching around. |
