My wife bought me the Corby Statesman for a gift three years ago. She paid close to $600 for it. The last several weeks when I put my pants in the Statesman Pants Press I noticed that they looked no different after leaving them in for an hour then when I first put them in. I contacted Corby to see what could be done to correct this problem and I was told
" it sounds like the heating element went". I asked if I could send it back to be repaired and was told " it cannot be repaired." I am having a difficult time understanding that a $600 pants press cannot be fixed!!!Very disappointed! |

| Ok, I will have to put in this caveat: Maybe my nearly six hundred dollar expectations were a little high. I may have been mistaken in expecting pants to go into the press to come out smoother than they went in. Silly me.... I have tried about ten different style of pants and hoped that at least one would come out okay. This is a HUGE waste of money. I wish someone had reviewed this piece of junk before I bought it. |

| Very expensive, no better than the $200 unit it replaced. Nice wood veneer, however not a dark rich color that you would expect on a piece of furniture for a bedroom. |
